6 Frame: Dispatches in 1-2 working daysThey look great and happy to help our kids (they are all our family members 🥰). Makes their home look gorgeous and hope they they are happy with their new verandah.
It was easy to install and works very well at keeping the bee entrance protected from rain and hot sun. Looks pretty cool as well. The only drawback is I had to stand back a bit to watch the bees coming and going from their hive. Highly recommend.
I installed the terrace roof on my Flow Hive 2+ last week. It’s been a hot and dry start to spring here in Bavaria. The roof gave the entrance to my hive shade in the middle of the day which was perfect. The last days we had lots of rain, and I was really chuffed to see the terrace roof kept the entrance and entrance terrace totally dry. I think the dry landing strip is much better for them coming back to the hive. It‘s totally practical and the quality A1. Well thought out and produced. Thanks from me and my bees.
I call it the verandah roof and it is excellent The item was well made and easy to install and looks great. During Cyclone Alfred I created a temporary roof/weather guard and while it did the job it wasn’t a permanent item. This is permanent but can be removed if required for any reason. The bees appreciate it and I love it.
After all the rain and wind over the past few months i decided to add the weather guard as another way to help my bees it has worked so well the bees had a bit more protection and now the sun is shining a brood inspection I have found the best capped brood frames for months. Maybe the little bit of added shelter helped but overall it has provided that extra relief from the rain and Sun. Love this addition
