I was...read moreAfter thoroughly reading assembly directions and watching very helpful videos our Flow Hive 2+ was put together and stained. And then we waited for bee pick up day! I was preparing myself not to be nervous when my daughter & I had to put the bees and the queen in the hive. Everything worked out perfectly! It was amazing to watch the bees! They knew exactly what they were supposed to do. I felt very calm with bees landing all over my Flow Bee Suit. I can’t wait for the next step in the honey making process. The Flow Hive 2+ is by far a very well thought out invention in the beekeeping world!

The hive was super easy and fun to build, thanks to the clear and detailed instructions provided. You can really tell it’s made from sturdy, high-quality materials — once assembled, the finished hive feels incredibly solid and durable. The bees are already happily settling in, and I can’t wait for the exciting moment when I get to turn the key and pour my first harvest of fresh honey straight from the hive!

We bought a second brooder box from Flow hive because our bees have nearly filled all 10 frames on the 1st box. It’s spring here and we plan to add the super frames next month which we are excited about. We love the look and design of the flow hive as it looks more like a piece of garden decor than a bee hive and all of our bees seem to love it. A useful feature is that it easily adapts to Langstroth hive components so we’ve been able to use a 4 jar feeder inside of our super frame these cooler months. We couldn’t be happier with our 1st apiary and the flow hive support we’ve received has been a huge part of our success.

I have seen every...read moreI’m in Durham NC. Having bought my first hive last year, put it together, multi coated with oils, painted the roof - and then bought a nuc, I started my journey. I have seen every Flow Hive tutorial more than once - and watched the experiences of other owners. And I’ve learned a lot! My first hive population exploded last fall, survived a cold winter in great shape, and I recently took a split into a 2nd Flow Hive. The honey is flowing in the springtime weather, and I would NEVER have had bees if it wasn’t for this technology!

Once I figured where the screws went and how to place the lifter onto them it took just...read moreIt was so easy to use, Im a 66yo lady that finds it difficult to lift my bee boxes. Once I figured where the screws went and how to place the lifter onto them it took just minutes to lift one or two boxes together. Since then I have been able to work all 5 of my hives in a very short period of time, it previously took me days to check all my boxes as I would have to take frames out of boxes to make the boxes lighter and therefore able to lift it. It was a very tiring slow process on myself and my bees. Its a joy to check my hives now. So happy and glad I purchased the Flow Lifter.

To...read moreI’m not gonna lie, when my package first arrived, and I took out all the pieces, I was extremely overwhelmed. I thought I would never be able to put all those pieces together. To my surprise, the instruction manual was extremely detailed. We had no trouble putting it together. It was so easy and we loved the flow hive so much that we turned around and ordered another one. We are in love with the flow hive and the ease of using it. Not to mention it looks very attractive in the backyard instead of just the box. I’m considering purchasing another one, but I’m just waiting to see if they go on sale or have a promotion.

I don’t see any problems with...read moreI just got my bees yesterday and put them in the hive. I purchased the scratch and dent hive in December. Got it all built and oiled and ready to go. I don’t see any problems with it at all and if I ever buy another one, I’m going to buy another scratch and dent. It’s beautiful. I took this hive to the school on STEAM night and shared with as many people as I could, and they were all very excited about it. I love this hive. I love my bees. I wish I had started sooner. I can’t wait to purchase the lifter next year. Thank you for making this possible for me. I would not have been able to do the old way, it’s too heavy, this is so much nicer.
