We have debated purchasing a flow hive for years. We have been beekeeping for 9 years now and have always had an interest in the flow hive system. This year we finally purchased one and it has been the best investment. We are able to safely show bees to our kids and family without the hassle of bee suits or worrying about bee stings. We did have one missing part and one broken piece that customer service immediately helped us with. We will be buying another one.
While we don’t have bees yet, we painted and assembled our hive and it was easy peasy. All the pieces fit as they should. Also very fun to paint and make a home for our future bees!
So far I love it!! Just put the honey super on and hopefully they fill it up!!
The flow hive is well made and we are loving our bees. Hoping they will take to our super but they have not yet. We did wait till the brood box was about 90% full before putting the super on but they are not using it yet only 3 or 4 bees in the super after a week of installation.
