Inspecting your hive has never been easier with the Flow Super Lifter®.
Lifting honey supers to inspect the brood box can be a real chore – first you have to chisel the boxes apart, then lift the heavy super off and find somewhere to put it down. And when you replace the super afterwards, bees often get squashed.
We’ve invented the Flow Super Lifter so that you can open a beehive without strain. It attaches and detaches easily to Flow Hives and conventional hives, it cracks the propolis seal for you, and we’ve designed it to lift as many as two deep boxes at a time. When you’re ready to close the hive again, the Super Lifter lets you align and replace the boxes gently to avoid the bees getting squashed.
You don’t need a Flow Super Lifter to keep bees! However, if you’d like to avoid heavy lifting, this invention is a great option. When they’re full of honey, supers can weigh upwards of 23kg/50lbs.
Inspecting the brood box regularly is a necessary (and fascinating!) part of beekeeping – using the Super Lifter makes it a lot easier and faster.
The Flow Super Lifter requires minimal maintenance. Simply clean it after use with a damp cloth and store it – we recommend using the custom made Flow Super Lifter bag.

Since 2017 I have had two flow hives the have supplied two gallons of honey in spring and two in the fall. That is 4 gallons of honey . People that I sell or gift people who have a health issue swears that feel better consuming a teaspoon a day . So my son was amazed of the longevity of the flowhive in this extreme Texas environment. So I purchase anther flowhive to get my son started on this amazing adventure. May 12 he installed his nuc. Three days later the bees are happy bringing in pollen of yaupon. Wildflowers, bee balm(horse nettle ) and dewberries blooms. He sent me a video of the bees packing pollen May I send it. Sincerely a happy mom of passing beekeeping to my son. Thank you flow hive.

The super lifter is definitely a huge help to me. Many times I am beekeeping by myself and I have lower back pain from lifting anything heavy. I have not hurt my back since I started using the super lifter and am quite pleased and relieved.
I purchased two flowhives. It was not until I saw this amazing invention that I believed I could be a beekeeper. I can also manage the weight of the Superflow with the help of the flowhive lifter and do regular inspections with ease.
The best part was that I did not have to put it together like most things these days. Very easy to set up to hive and worked great with ease. I am getting older, and this will definitely with getting in without lifting the honey flow filled with honey. Thanks!!!
